Meet the Peeps

turtle fairy

Kameko New!
Kameko is a guardian of the turtles at the Sleepy Lake. Despite his childlike appearance, he is thought to be over 1000 years old.  He flies about the lake in his slow graceful manner, visiting wherever he is needed. He is sometimes recruited to give counsel to non-turtle issues for his wisdom and sound advice.

Snowy New!
Snowy lives up on top of the Mt. Kokubunji where snow is never absent. She is known for her beauty and her dancing. When snow falls, she sings and dances among the falling flakes. Her wings are made of crystal clear ice and her tinkling voice can be heard if you are very very quiet.

Sunflower Fairy New!
On the edge of Shuffle Dessert near the forest to the east lies a field of sunflowers. Each of these sunflowers are occupied with one of these Sunflower Fairies and each time one opens, a Sunflower Fairy is born. They groom the seeds and welcome the Squirrels, mice, and birds who come for them. The animals promise to spread some of the seeds they take and thanks to that, the sunflower field is ever growing.

Woaboas New!
The Woaboas are little mushroom brownies that live in the heart of the Gulf of Myst forest. They are quiet little creatures with velvety skin like the mushrooms, and are often mistaken for being unsociable. However, in contrast, they are very intelligent, gentle shy creatures who are much curious about other creatures, love to fix things, and ready to make friends if you let them have a chance.

Bumblebeena and Buzz New!
Bumblebeena is a charming little bumble bee fairy and Buzz is her adopted fairy. She found Buzz alone and lost while traveling back from visiting the Green Beetle Rider in the Lapis Mountain forest and they have been together ever since. They look after the local bee colonies, scouting for new flower fields and protecting their honey.

King Caterpillar
He is the self appointed king of the Fairpeepians, although technically not a real king of anything he parade around the kingdom riding on his fat caterpillar and enjoys himself. The other fairies find him very comical, and since he doesn’t really try to rule anything, they play with his imagination and often parades after him singing and dancing just for fun.

Chantrieri Fairy
She is also known as the “Bat Flower Fairy” because of her dark colored petals. She is a gentle soul, however, she has a unique power. She creates shade by moving or creating clouds, and bringing rain even on the sunniest days. She has been known to help lost travelers in need of shade and water, and in return, she will accept either a handful of moss or a stalk of wheat.

Brownie Boys
Brownie boys are hard working and helpful. They adopt a house where they will help with keeping of the house or caring for the animals. But like all fairies, they are unpredictable. If somehow insulted, they can turn troublesome. When in their mischievous state, they pinch you while sleeping or throw things at you when unexpected.

Fairytale Teller
Her name is secret and no one seems to know it. It is said that if her name is revealed, she will lose her voice due to an ancient curse placed on her Tale Teller ancestors. She is only known as the Fairytale Teller, and she teaches the new fairies the ways of fairies through traveling and telling true tales of ancient fairies. Her home is in the woods of Arcadia, but she could be anywhere at any given time, telling fantastic stories of the fairy history.

Lilybug Fairy
She is the entertainer of the Fairpeepians. She travels with her troop of ladybugs to entertain Fairpeeps all across the land. She adopts orphaned ladybug larvae and raises them. She deeply cares for the ladybugs and the bugs treat her with the greatest of respect. She is a local celebrity revered for her good doing and her wonderful performances with the ladybugs. Her most popular act is the air show in which she skillfully choreographs the ladybugs in their flying dance.

Acorn Babies
Cute little Acorn Babies are native to the northern woods of the Aughiskian Wetland. The brave little babies freely roam the forest as babies and when they mature, they plant themselves in the rich soil of the wetland forest and become giant oak trees that live for hundreds of years.

Fungies
Fungies are silly little mushroom people who like to play harmless little tricks. They giggle constantly and bring laughter to those who have been tricked. Their favorite trick is to hide amongst the mushrooms under their cap and pop up when unexpected. Listen for their little giggles in the forest, and you will soon see them pop up and down for your entertainment.

Mushkids
Mushkids are the guardian and harvester of the mushrooms. They help the mushrooms by grooming the soil and by collecting the spores in their little pouches and spreading in other locations to grow. They are a type of goblins, but not the malicious sort. They are kind hearted and hard working. They live in hollows of dead trees or underneath a pile of fallen leaves. They live on the mushrooms and their life revolves along with the life cycle of mushrooms.

Corbitt
He is the young warrior prince of the Blue Land Shape shifters and takes the form of a deer mouse. Free spirited Prince Corbitt is always looking for adventures. He is always escaping his underground family fortress into the deep forest of Arcadia for playful missions until the king has to order search for him.

Daisy
She is a flower fairy of the daisies. She emerges from the opening petals of the daisy flower and at night she closes them tightly. She is essential to this ritual of the daisies, which signifies the beginning and the end of the day. She also brings innocence to those who pick the flower.

The Wise Tree
On the edge of the northern island of the Blue Land he sits quietly on a rock on the cliff. He is known to have answers to any questions that one may ask. He waits silently for those who seek answers. For a price of a walnut, you can ask him any question, but choose your question wisely for you only get one question answered in a life time!

Oleander Fairy
Usually accompanied by an oleander caterpillar, Oleander Fairies patrols the island for any troubles. Choral Island is a peaceful place and this is thanks to the efforts of the Oleander Fairies and their caterpillars. When the caterpillars turn into moths, they fly about in the moon light, bringing sweet dreams to those who live on the island.

Weeples
They are fun little bouncy creatures that inhabit the Choral Island. They tend to the orange toadstools that grow on the island forest. They spread the spores of the mushrooms within the forest to help grow them. Why they tend to the mushrooms is unknown.

Chickadee
She is a fun playful fairy that looks after the baby birds. She looks after them when the mother birds are away. She takes them on field trips and fun adventures, and when danger approaches, she uses her power to hide the babies from harms way. In return, she accepts eggshells with which she builds her house.

Baku
This little interesting creature is very special. He eats bad dreams and replaces it with a happy one. He is a good friend to the grouchy gnome, Darr, who no one really likes to be around because he is so grouchy. But Baku is always trying to cheer him up by giving him sweet dreams and help him find things that the pixies hide.

Grouchy Gnome
The Gulf of Myst is a rather menacing place. The fog is so thick, if you are not careful, you could easily get lost. Most fairies and creature avoid getting caught in the mist in the Gulf of Myst. In this misty region of the land lives Darr, who is a grouchy old gnome with a crazy eye. He hates the pixies, they often plays tricks on him just for fun. You can always hear him yelling at the little pests who like to hide his shoes and put stink weed in his fire.

Pan
The mystical Pan lives on the vast forbidding mountains of the Lapis. He is the shepherd of the mountain goats and he is considered to be the god of fields, groves, and wooded glens. He is musically talented and plays his flute, which echoes throughout the mountain range for all to hear.

Rocky
He is the guardian of the Lapis Mountains. He is a spirit that lives in the boulders of the mountain and can appear anywhere in the rocks. He dislikes disturbances, and if you were to lift a rock for no reason, you will likely be asked to put it back. He is at first startling to encounter for he appears suddenly on rock face unexpectedly, but he just wants his rocks to be left where they are.

Taron and Acorn Buddies
They are always together. Taron has special powers to put a spell on the acorns to bring them to life. He is a quiet, shy creature and doesn’t like to associate too much with other fairies, but he makes acorns into Acorn Buddies and lives happily in the deep forest of the Lapis Mountains chatting quietly with his friends.

Green Beetle Rider
She is a fairy of the Green Hercules Beetles. Little is known about her because she is very shy. She likes to ride on the beetles even though it’s much faster for her to fly. She takes good care of her beetles and the beetles enjoy her company very much. She grooms and cares for the beetles and their young underground yet to emerge.

Medicine Man of the Jeems
The people of Jeems are thought to be extinct except for the Medicine Man of the Jeems who gained immortality through his medicine practice. His lives with his wife Mrs. Jeems, who’s name we cannot spell or pronounce. He is probably the most respected amongst the Fairpeepians and his presence is often requested for special occasions and to cure sick fairies. He gladly comes down from the top of the mountain to help others.

Mrs. Jeems
She and her husband Mr. Jeems are the last surviving of the Jeems people. We don’t really know their real names because we can’t spell it or pronounce it. They are thought to be immortal, and we don’t know how old they really are. Some say that they are older than the oldest tree on Mt. Kokubunji, where they live. Mr. Kokubunji is a rather forbidding mountain where fairies normally avoid, but it is a home for this special couple.

Achen and Boulderman
They live on the rocky peaks of the Mt. Kokubunji. Achen is a grouchy tree man who constantly complains. He mainly complains about the singing blue bird that has nested on his branches, but he’s too tired to even lift a twig. Boulderman, whom the Tired Old Tree roots upon is always trying to cheer up the tree by telling jokes and riddles, but even his effort in cheering the Tired seem to tire him.

Wacky Mushrooms
They grow in clusters all over the mystic Mr. Kokubunji. They see everything with their curious eyes and they chatter constantly about what they saw, and so, they sort of act as surveillance cameras for the Jeems that live at the top of the mountain, because they give away everything and anything that anyone is doing, giving them a fair warning when anyone approaches.

Sage Warrior
She is the keeper of the peace in the desolate terrains of the Shuffle Desert. She is wise and brave, and for the most part gentle, but be aware, if you make her angry, she will attack with the force of an angry hornet, to make sure everyone abides by the rules of the sand.

Chubby
Chubby is a fat little furry creature that lives in the sand of the Shuffle desert. He is a peaceful creature and often shelters lost traveler and give them food and water. He has an incredible eyesight and hearing. He can hear and see things miles away. Some say he can even hear the chattering of the Wacky Mushrooms all the way from Mt. Kokubunji.

Ribbity
She has fins for wings and her hands and feet are webbed, which makes her an excellent swimmer. Her beautiful singing voice is said to stop any travelers in their tracks to listen to her sweet voice singing her tranquil songs. Her wise thinking is highly regarded and neighboring creatures and fairies come to her for her advise when they are troubled.

Toadie and Pollywog
Toadie is a troublemaker. He loves to play tricks on everyone and causes havoc in this otherwise quiet peaceful Sleepy Lake. His best friend Pollywog on the other hand is a gentle bullfrog tadpole and he constantly tries to talk Toadie out of his mischievous tricks. This certainly is an interesting duo.

Horn Toad
Horn Toad lives at the depth of the Sleepy Lake. He is known to be the best hunter in the kingdom of toads and frogs, also known as the “Hunter”.  Hopping from lily pad to lily pad, he can swiftly snatch an unsuspecting fish out of water. He is thought to be the last descendant of the Horn Toad Clan and tadpoles of all kind gather to hear his stories about his warrior fathers. Some say he can catch a fish big enough to swallow him whole.

Meowl
Meowl is a shy little flying feline that likes to play echo with unsuspecting traveler. He likes to follow you around and echo what you say. His favorite sound is sneezing. So if you hear someone else sneeze just near by when you sneeze, chances are, Meowl is near by waiting for you play echo with him. You probably won’t see him right away because he is shy and very good at hiding, but if you get to know him, he will even come sit on your shoulder to play with you.

Gnomies
When you ever get lost in the enchanted land of the Blue Land, just call for help. These little guys will appear out of nowhere and come to your assistance. They are very friendly and love to travel. They will see to it that you will find your destination no matter how far they have to go along. Just be sure to offer a strand of hair for their help. It is not known what they do with the hair they collect.

Cora
Cora is a sweet gentle fairy that lives in an abandoned shell at the top of the hill that over looks the island.  She takes care of the snails and slugs of the Choral Island and is known for her sweet singing. Just follow any snail trail, you will likely to find her singing and tending to the soft bodies friends.
